Waiting for dinner can be such a boring endeavor that it pays to bring along some paper and a pencil. Sweetpea typically entertains herself by drawing pictures, playing Tic-Tac-Toe, etc. Since she is now reading books by herself she decided to write one of her own. Here is her first short story written and illustrated entirely on her own. (Make sure you note the boy's expressions as the story progresses).
